Currently Youth Services facilitate two Youth Committees, the MYSA (Manningham Youth Social Activities) Committee and the FReeZA Fusion Committee. Both committees are made up of local young people aged between 12-18 years who have volunteered to take part in the groups, which have been developed for two very different, yet specific reasons.
| MYSA (MANNINGHAM YOUTH SOCIAL ACTIVITIES): | MYSA has been formed to organize and facilitate social activities for other local young people to participate in during the long school holiday breaks and meet every second Monday afternoon. Past activities have included surf trips, rock climbing, canoeing, sumo wrestling, go carting and jet boating! MYSA activities have proved a huge success and a whole heap of fun.
FReeZA is a state government funded initiative that allows the Youth Services team to manage and facilitate the Fusion Committee who meet every Tuesday afternoon and have the responsibility to develop, implement and manage a series of youth focused music events within the Manningham area. Events have included the annual FReeZA Palooza Battle of The Bands as well as the Schools Out and Hardcore Halloween events. The Committee also take part in local festivals and events.

New members are always welcome and we encourage any young person looking to get involved with their community and peers, or have an interest in developing their potential in the music industry to definitely complete the relevant application form and return to the Youth Services team, who will contact you and discuss your potential involvement in the program! (return options are included on the forms).
