Manningham YMCA Youth Services is funded by Manningham City Council to provide a generalist youth service to local young people aged 12-25 years. We provide services and programs in the following areas:

The Eastern region comprises of a broad range of services, agencies and organisations designed to assist both young people and their families. Just like Manningham YMCA Youth Services, many offer and facilitate programs, workshop and activities around youth issues as well as effects certain issues have on family, friends, education and life in general. Female Support Programs



EACH LogoGirls with Attitude (GWA) 2010 - EACH & City of Whitehorse

Now in its ninth year, Girls with Attitude has assisted many young women.  The program is suited to females aged 13-17years who are experiencing difficulties dealing with their emotions, struggling with significant relationships and many other issues.  Girls with Attitude runs for four days over four weeks and covers topics such as effective communication, negotiation, assertiveness, self-esteem, conflict resolution, feelings and relationship building. A parenting forum is also an important element of the program.  It is all totally free.

The Body Project - Manningham YMCA Youth Services

The Body ProjectMYMCA YS are putting healthy lifestyle changes into practice by offering a low cost gym program linked with emotional support by a youth support worker for young girls aged 14-17 years with weight issues and/or anegative body image attitude. Each session will consist of group and individual support followed by a fun work out in a fully equipped gym with a fully qualified female instructor.

Fighting FairMediation & Conflict Resolution Training for Professionals - Fighting Fair

An interactive and stimulating 2 day course (March 18th & 19th) will assist professionals to explore conflict and impart the essential principles and process of mediation. The course can be utilised in many different areas of conflict e.g. client work, workplace disputes and interpersonal conflict.
