Just like Manningham YMCA Youth Services, many offer and facilitate programs, workshop and activities around youth issues as well as effects certain issues have on family, friends, education and life in general. Girls with Attitude (GWA) 2010 - EACH & City of Whitehorse
Now in its ninth year, Girls with Attitude has assisted many young women. The program is suited to females aged 13-17years who are experiencing difficulties dealing with their emotions, struggling with significant relationships and many other issues. Girls with Attitude runs for four days over four weeks and covers topics such as effective communication, negotiation, assertiveness, self-esteem, conflict resolution, feelings and relationship building. The Body Project - Manningham YMCA Youth Services The Body Project is back! Open throughout the term, the program is designed for young girls aged 12-17 who have negative attitudes around body image and are over weight. The program runs for 9 weeks at a time and participants can join anytime. Sessions are held in the Wellness Centre in Mitchell Street On Mondays at 4pm -5:30pm. For more details or call 9848 5400.

 Eastern Diversity Group (EDG) - Family Access Network EDG, based in Box Hill, is a relatively new group for same sex attracted, trans or questioning young people aged 15-25 years. Meet people, make some friends, sort stuff out and have all your questions answered. The crew meets every Wednesday - for more infor call Fiona on 9890 2673 or email fan@fan.org.au

 Cruzin' Study - City of Whitehorse & Youth Connexions (Box Hill) A homework and study support for students in secondary school from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The program aims as assisting all students who may be having difficulty with their school work and runs every Thursday afternoon during school terms from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

The Artistry of Facilitation is an engaging and dynamic two day course that will explore the theory & practical aspects of facilitating training groups. It will ensure workers have the knowledge, practical skills and confidence in preparing, delivering and reviewing training sessions.
